Full Disclosure: The Schwinn 430 is a veritable Frankenstein.  It comes in thousands of pieces (all right, I may be exaggerating a bit) and you have to put all these together.  It’s like playing with LEGO blocks - only it’s not as fun because some parts actually don’t fit.  The articulating foot plates can be tough on feet.  This is a low-impact trainer that’s supposed to be easy on your knee joints - but it doesn’t have as much concern for your feet.

The display is also hard to read especially at night.  Come on, Schwinn.  There’s such a thing as backlighting.  Even cheap mobile phones and kiddie toys have them.   A squeaking noise can develop after a short period of use, so keep lubricant on hand to grease contact points.
