What You’ll Love:  This is very easy to fold and store.  It is also very compact so it takes up very little space; meaning it will fit easily into most car trunks.  The swivel design is perfect for great maneuverability on those situations that require you and your baby to make quick and short turns.

Full Disclosure:  The canopy is rather small; it doesn’t provide enough shade for a midday stroll.  You should probably wait until afternoon before taking your baby out to the park.  Of lay a baby blanket over the stroller for extra sun protection.

The seat is adequate for babies and small toddlers, but you cannot use it when your child has grown older.  The seat is not big enough for big kids.  The small seat may actually be a good thing, though; it ensures that babies and small children are snugly tucked in.

A real concern however is the rather top-heavy design.  This could mean that in certain situations such as steep hills or uneven surfaces, the stroller could be difficult to control.

What You’ll Love:  This is very affordable.  It only costs around $180.  The colors are great; there are six in all.  The accents are stylish and the color combinations really work.  The front wheel is makes maneuvering a breeze.  The overall structure is quite stable and sturdy. The big front and back wheels offer great stability and comfort on both smooth and rough surfaces.  Folded, the stroller looks very compact.  It is also very easy to fold like its single-baby counterpart.

Full Disclosure:  InStep should really make their canopy larger.  The canopy on the InStep Safari Double is more decorative than functional.  Of course if you don’t really need the shade – i.e. you don’t really plan on strolling with your babies when the sun is high – then this should not be a problem.

This stroller is also a bit short in storage options.  Of course, space is rather a premium.  The compartments are spacious and your children are comfortable.  They just won’t have a convenient mesh pocket for storing their drinks in transit.  You can still use the under-seat basket, though, for storing their bottles and other kid necessities.

Overview:  The new Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat in Matrix is available online for a price of around $137.  Nautilus is a three-in-one car seat; that is, it has three functions.  It is mainly a five-point harness car seat.  However, it can be transformed to a high-back booster or a backless booster, depending on the height and weight of the child seated on it.  The five-point harness seat accommodates infants and kids from 20 to 65 pounds.  The high-back booster can support children that weigh from 30 to 100 pounds.  The backless booster seat, on the other hand, can support kids that weigh 40-100 pounds.  This Graco Nautilus car seat is also equipped with a cup holder and has a storage compartment at the side for your kid’s must-haves.

What You’ll Love:  Nautilus exceeds US safety standards.  It has passed the extensive crash testing and Extreme Car Interior Temperatures test.  It also has EPS energy-absorbing foam that offers added comfort and safety during unexpected bumps and sudden turns.  Its wide armrests and flexible head support allows the car seat to grow with your child, therefore giving you years of use.

You do have to read the manual so you can take full advantage of this seat’s features. Of course you should always read the manual when installing any carseat.  The manual is clear and to the point; it will teach you when it is safe and reasonable to convert the car seat into a high-back or backless booster seat.

The seat is well designed to keep the child safe and the parents unruffled.  Its steel-reinforced structure assures parents that their child is never at risk during road trips.  The seats’ straps can be loosened and tightened easily.  Installation should not be a problem; it will take you only a little over 30 minutes to put everything together.

Full Disclosure:  Unfortunately, this 5-point harness car seat’s back does not recline to an angle that allows for a good and deep sleep.  In fairness to Graco, they did provide a good alternative by adding a padded headrest so children that can sleep upright will be comfortable.

Overview:  The Deluxe Wonder Wheeler Beach Cart is basically a wheeled cart that is capable of holding up to one hundred pounds of load.  It has steerable 4.5 inch wheels which make it easy to maneuver while strolling.  The ten-inch wheels at the back give it good manageability on almost any surface; it works wonderfully well on a sandy beach surface.  The Wonder Wheeler is also designed to fold into storage for easier stowing when it is not in use.

What You’ll Love:  The 2008 model of the Deluxe Wonder Wheeler is a wonder in engineering and design.  It is very durable.  It can carry a hundred pounds’ worth of beach baggage with no trouble.  Never fear you’ll get stuck in coarse-sand beaches; it remains stable even when it is full.

Full Disclosure:  Unfortunately, fine sand is this wheeler’s downfall.  As mentioned above, it does well in beaches with coarse-grained sand.  In fine sand, however, the deluxe wonder wheeler ceases being so wonderful and deluxe.  It tends to get stuck in fine-sand beaches.  You can get it out easily but it keeps getting stuck making a short trip to the best beach spot a bit of a pain.  If you’re a city dweller hoping to use it for a folding grocery or laundry cart, don’t even think about it.  The wheels tend to slip off on pavement.

Overall, if you’re going somewhere where no fine sand or pavement is involved, this wheeler is wonderful.  Perhaps you can use it for going to a nearby park; you can have a picnic there.  It can handle coarse sand and dirt with no difficulty.  If you are planning on going to a fine-sand beach, however, you’d better limit your beach essentials to the suit, the lotion and the towel as above mentioned or pray you get a really close parking spot.

The handle can also be adjusted to fit the parent’s height.  The lock is secure, moreover; once you lock the stroller in place, it is really locked.  You can push as hard as you can but it won’t budge!  The included rain shield and sunshield will make protecting your baby from the sun and a sudden downpour easy.

Full Disclosure:  Schwinn should probably rethink the height of their under-the-seat storage compartment.  It needs a bit of work; right now, it is rather too low so the bottles or whatever stuff you put in there will probably touch those humps or mini-bumps on the track.  The front wheels are also rather stiff and hard to turn.  Of course, this is not a real flaw; you actually need to get a straightforward-going stroller if you want to use it while you jog.

What You’ll Love:  The Bob Revolution stroller is well designed and constructed for non-paved roads.  The suspension system works well for absorbing the rigors caused by an uneven track and the padding makes a child even more comfortable.  The harness is sturdy (although not at all uncomfortable) so you can be sure your child will not slip out of the stroller on one of your jogs.  Indeed, whether on pavement or on rough road, this stroller will give your child a smooth and safe ride.  The large canopy will provide your baby with good protection against the sun.  The two-step folding feature makes storage very convenient and easy.

Full Disclosure:  You may find it difficult to unfold the stroller for use.  Obviously, this is part of the stroller’s safety mechanism; the secure lock makes accidental deployments and thus damage to the stroller difficult so this should not be much of a problem.  You do have to be careful when unfolding the stroller lest you damage it in your impatience.

The harness has to be made more child-proof, however.  Kids find it easy to figure out how the harness is unlocked so you have to be watchful; your kids may unlock the harness and slip it off while you’re not looking.

So what sets good strollers apart from mediocre ones?  A lot of things:  the smoothness of the ride, the comfort of the seats, the ease of folding it up, to name a few.  But if there’s one other thing you can add to the mix, it’s a good balance between a walker and a jogger as parents are like to use a combination of both movements.

Overview:  If balance is what you’re looking for, perhaps the BOB Revolution Duallie Stroller is just the product for you and your twins.  At first glance, the Revolution possesses all the standard-issue features of a good stroller.  It can support a maximum weight of up to one hundred pounds.  A sturdy but narrow aluminum frame allows it to fit within a standard-size doorway.  Two canopies protect your kids from the sun and rain and fold independently.  Your tykes will be visiting dreamland frequently courtesy of the comfy padded and independent reclining seats.

Balance however is where this stroller really shines.  The Revolution’s suspension system, coupled with ball bearings and lockable swiveling wheels, allows it to shift seamlessly back and forth between walking and jogging modes.  With this stroller, you can drift ‘round corners with the ease and skill of a seasoned racer.  Just don’t forget to activate the parking brake with your foot when you’re ready to leave the racetrack.

What You’ll Love:  The first thing you will probably notice about the BOB Revolution is that it’s remarkably easy to push, even with two hefty kids riding in it.  You’ll love the way it turns corners; it weaves through them like Porsche on the Autobahn.  The stroller’s shock absorbers are nothing to sneeze at, either.  You may be wondering how such a narrow, maneuverable double stroller can be so resilient.  Truth be told; so are we.  It’s made of aluminum, but it may as well be made of adamantium; it can take truckloads of abuse but it’s always ready for more.  Finally, the comfy stroller got even more comfy with its 2007 model:  its recliner seats are better than that of its predecessors.

Full Disclosure:  No stroller is perfect and the Revolution is not exception.  For starters, parents may have to do a little bit of stretching to actually get things from the storage basket located under the seat.  They must also reset the shock setting manually after folding up the stroller.  While the Revolution promises a comfy ride, it only applies to infants who can actually raise their heads.  Babies who cannot do so require additional support for their heads and necks or their ride may be anything but comfortable.  Should you plan on buying one, do note that the locking mechanism does not apply when the stroller is folded up.  Be careful or you may have to chase a runaway folded Revolution (complete with a dragging wrist strap) down an incline.

Overview:  The Baby Jogger City Mini Single Stroller sells for around $220 and it is definitely worth its price.  It comes with the usual Quick-Fold technology for which Baby Jogger is known.  It is lightweight, weighing only 16.8 pounds.  However, it can carry a baby almost thrice its weight (i.e. 50 pounds).  It has a three-panel clear weather canopy that will shield your baby from both the sun and the rain.  Its ventilated and padded seat can be reclined up to 150 degrees and the multiple compartments are very useful for storage of bottles, a diaper bag and other baby essentials.

What You’ll Love:  I love the new City Mini Single Stroller mainly because of four things.  First, I like the five-point safety harness that has a padded buckle cover and shoulder pads.  The five-point harness is very secure but it doesn’t cause any discomfort.  Next, it is very light and thus very portable but it can still carry a lot of weight.  A fifty-pound capacity for a 17-pound stroller is impressive.  The quick-fold technology is remarkable.  Storage or packing is never troublesome.  I can bring it with me anywhere I go, even on trips that require a plane ride.  Third, the wheels are sturdy, easy to turn and detachable!  The eight-inch, light and quick-release wheels with ball bearings are very easy to maneuver on all kinds of roads and floorings.  I can even push the stroller with just one hand!

Full Disclosure:  The Baby jogger City Mini Single is a great product.  However, it would be better if they improve their color selection, perhaps even add to it.  It would also be better if the stroller can stand on its own after folding for easier setting up and storing.
