Schwinn Hope Jogging Stroller: Walk It Off with Your Baby
Tell A Friend
by PiranhaJenn
After giving birth to your baby, many moms are hoping to get your old shape back as soon as possible. Walking or running is one of the best ways for new moms to get in shape and best of all they can take their baby with them in a jogging stroller. With a jogging stroller, you can be with your baby, your baby will get some fresh air and you will still be able to work off those extra pounds.
Overview: Schwinn is a company that is well-known for its innovative and high-quality bicycles for men and women of all ages. Now Schwinn proves its mettle once again by offering the public – especially new parents – the Hope Jogging Stroller.
This stroller is a well-built jogging stroller that has been designed to stand the rigors of jogging, although it works equally well on a slow or brisk stroll. It has 16-inch alloy wheels that give the stroller a smooth and straight rolling motion. The stroller, moreover, has been designed to support up to 50 pounds of weight. The frame is made of lightweight aluminum and folds easily for hassle-free storage. A five-point safety harness with padding keeps your child snug and comfortable. The stroller’s locking mechanism and rear suspension allows for quick stopping without the carriage accidentally toppling over.
What You’ll Love: The extra features are great and show Schwinn’s commitment to make exercising with their babies as easy as possible for the parents. The parent tray, the behind-the-seat storage compartment and the under-seat storage are all very useful features. The pocket at the back can be zipped for safety; it’s great for storing cell phones and wallets. The stroller’s mesh back is also another plus; this is very useful especially during the summer for extra sunglasses, sunblock or bug repellent. The parent tray, behind-the-seat and under-seat storage provide extra room for a lot of things.
The handle can also be adjusted to fit the parent’s height. The lock is secure, moreover; once you lock the stroller in place, it is really locked. You can push as hard as you can but it won’t budge! The included rain shield and sunshield will make protecting your baby from the sun and a sudden downpour easy.
Full Disclosure: Schwinn should probably rethink the height of their under-the-seat storage compartment. It needs a bit of work; right now, it is rather too low so the bottles or whatever stuff you put in there will probably touch those humps or mini-bumps on the track. The front wheels are also rather stiff and hard to turn. Of course, this is not a real flaw; you actually need to get a straightforward-going stroller if you want to use it while you jog.
