5 out of 5 stars I'm a tackle football player   January 8, 2010

I've tried many, many gloves in my career (we are a school in a league dedicated to football, so its pretty small, but the level of competition usually leads the people in the league to play college ball), and it is my experience that these are the best (I'm a fullback/wingback/linebacker, so hanging on to the ball is pretty important for my positions). I got the team color custom ones from the BYOG website, and the C-tack is amazing. They do get very warm, however, which is why I use these when it gets cold during practice (I wear the runningback/linebacker variant for games - otherwise the sweat makes them smelly). I'd recommend the Underarmor gloves made out of mesh for warmer weather, otherwise these are definitely the way to go.

Fumbles are very rare in my league because almost everyone uses cutters.

I received these gloves for Christmas and they worked great. They kept my hands warm during out Sunday night winter season without being too bulky. I was able to feel the ball everytime and pull in my catches. You lose some feeling when pulling opposing player flags however.
